Dry, scratchy eyes?




If you have an office-based job, you’re a candidate for dry eye. Prolonged computer use and exposure to dust are among the job-related factors that contribute to this problem. If left untreated, dry eye can increase your risk of infection and impaired vision.
Take action:Be aware of the symptoms: dryness, itchiness, irritation, blurred vision, sensitivity to light, excessive tears, and a feeling of having something in the eye. If you suspect you have dry eye, see an eye specialist for an examination. There are treatments that will keep your eyes healthy and prevent vision problems. It may also help to blink more often, to increase the humidity levels at your home and/or work, and to use artificial tears and moisturising ointment.
